Veterans United Home Loans Launches Builder Division
Veterans United Home Loans, the nation's leading dedicated provider of VA Loans has announced it is adding a national builder division in an effort to establish and enhance relationships with homebuilders and contractors.
The new division will seek to empower home builders with the products and services they need to attract those seeking to purchase new construction homes. These services include extended interest rate locks, joint marketing efforts between builders and loan officers and a proprietary project approval system.
"With this commitment to a builder division, we are opening up an entirely new way for our company to enhance the lives of our customer," CEO Nate Long said. "Building relationships with skilled and dedicated home builders is so important because our customers want these quality-built homes."
Michael May, National Manager of Builder Division will lead the division. May came to Veterans United Home Loans from MetLife Home Loans, where he served as regional building manager.
"The opportunity to come to Veterans United and to work with veterans and military families in order to get them into a new home is tremendous," May said. "We are really looking forward to growing by helping builders find motivated buyers and vice versa."
Headquartered in Columbia, Missouri, Veterans United Home Loans is the largest dedicated VA purchase lender in the nation. More than 700,000 military families have come to Veterans United Home Loans when it was time to use their VA loan benefits. The Veterans United Home Loans team is expected to secure more than $1 billion in VA funding this year.
Founded in 2002 by two brothers, Veterans United Home Loans prides itself on its relaxed, yet hardworking atmosphere and its emphasis on incorporating its values — be passionate and have fun, deliver results with integrity and enhance lives every day — throughout the work environment.
