(Veterans United) Employees pledged nearly $650,000 from their salaries, which the company matched for a total of $1.29 million. It has pledged $300,000 to Heart of Missouri United Way.

In addition to the company’s United Way giving, other funds were donated to the Paralyzed Veterans of America, an organization that works to maximize the quality of life of those with spinal cord injury or dysfunction, and to the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans, a nonprofit devoted to end homelessness for those who have returned from war.
Veterans United Home Loans is the largest dedicated VA purchase lender in the nation. More than 750,000 military families have used Veterans United Home Loans when it was time to use their VA loan benefits. The Veterans United team is expected to secure more than $1 billion in VA funding this year.
