Use one of your military discounts to spend some quality time with your family this Fourth of July. There are a lot of civilian discounts for service members to use this week in addition to their own discounts.
These discount are a small thank you to the men and women that helped fight for our freedom. Many businesses, attractions and restaurants are offering military discounts in honor of them protecting America’s independence.

July 3 and 4, Six Flags America is offering complimentary admission to active, retired and disabled service members. Families of these service members can receive discounted tickets at a MWR/ITT office. You won’t want to miss this event! There are firework shows, musical guests, roller coasters galore and water slides to escape the summer heat.
July 2 through July 5, active and retired military personnel will receive free admission to Valley Fair.
Kings Island is proud to offer free admission to any active or retired military personnel July 3, 4 and 5. Up to six immediate family members willmbe able to purchase discounted tickets to the largest amusement and waterpark in the midwest.
Active, reserve and retired military personnel will receive free admission to Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun July 3, through July 5. A valid military ID must be presented upon admission. Family members of these service members will receive a discounted admission price when accompanied by a service member.
On July 3 and 4 all active and retired military will receive free admission to Kings Dominion. There will also be a free all-you-can-eat buffet.
July 1 through July 4, active and retired military personnel will receive discounted tickets at Cedar Point amusement park. All immediate family members will also receive the discounted ticket price of $30. There will be fireworks, barbecue and plenty of rides for thrill-seekers.
Any current or past service member will receive a complimentary admission to Funderland Amusement Park on July 4. You must have an ID to redeem your free tickets, even if it is expired. Bring up to four family members to enjoy a day at the park for free with you!
Adventure Landing in Jacksonville, Fla. is offering free admission to active and retired military personnel on July 4. ID must be presented at gate and family members will receive a discounted price. Stay cool because it is going to be a hot July 4.
Active military personnel can show their ID this Independence Day to receive 10 percent off your purchase at Pottery Barn Kids.
Arizona Diamondbacks, St. Louis Cardinals, Philadelphia Phillies, Pittsburg Pirates and Seattle Mariners are some of the baseball teams offering military discounts on home games this week in honor of the Fourth. Find the details on your team’s military discount here.
