Current cuts in defense spending are throwing a spotlight on what we’ll lose with a lessened investment in the military. So here’s a look at seven technologies we wouldn’t have without military development.
For all that I have created, and all that I have done,
Just give me a dollar, and one day, tell me we won,
Tell me thank you, and I will ask you what for?
I would have done it for free, without keeping score,
but you gave me a penny just for my thought,
which serves to remind me of the battles fought,
the price that was paid,
by the soldiers we made,
and I would do it again,
anytime, for my countrymen.
I’m a Bi-lateral BK Amputee (below the knees) and I recently approached my VA Medical Center and requested I be granted a pair of BIOM iwalk ankles. I met with a panel called the Amputee Clinic; presented information and visual reports of how my walking ability, gait, overall health and out look on life will be greatly and positively impacted. Please pray for me and pray that the panel comes back with a positive response to my request. Thank You!
