Veterans United sat down with William Pilger, 92-year-old veteran of World War II, as he told his amazing life story. See the full video this Memorial Day weekend.
I have a 92 year old also, but his memory is not to good anymore but his Heart is Big with Pride, that he served his country in WW11. His name is Frederick Bryant Woodruff he was a Sgt.
Please tell him I thank him with my whole heart. My Dad was in the Pacific during WWII. He died a few years ago, and always had that same pride. If it were not for them a lot of people would not be free.
We had a USO memorial today at our very small local VA center…thinking of the men and women who are now serving our country made me swell with pride..My husband is a vet, 2 son in laws and also a son and daughter are now vets….and I have 2 grandsons now in service for our country….Army and Navy….my heart swells with pride and it will never waver…God bless you all…my gratitude knows no bounds!!!
