Air Force Technical Sgt. Rhonda Stockstill and her family lost their home in the 2013 tornado that devastated Moore, Okla.
They huddled beneath the stairs as the storm surged through that spring day. Once it passed, Rhonda raced to a nearby elementary school to provide medical help. She helped pull more than 100 people from the rubble.
Rhonda and her family made plans to rebuild in the wake of the storm. But their local lender wanted a sizable down payment in order to secure a conventional home loan.
That's when Rhonda decided to utilize her hard-earned VA home loan benefits. Veterans United was honored to help Rhonda and her family buy the home they so deserved.
