This went very smoothly.
Always kept me informed of all the features available on the Veterans United website, made sure I connected with the entire team working on my loan, & always got right back to my emails. Fantastic!
Chris and Heather were really easy to work with. we set up an account on the ole inner web,for me that was the hardest part of the process. I'm just a old fellow with a computer. They worked with me and once i had the account the rest was a breeze, checked the account at least twice a day any forms needed just scan and send the forms requested .Looking back it was really easy. And thank the team for making it easy and taking time to work with me and talk me thru the computer scanning .. again THANK YOU GUY AND GALS ..AT VETERANS UNITED HOME LOANS..
Oh. Dear. In the beginning of this process, Chris Hill was a good loan officer. He helped me understand what to expect, especially it being my first time. However, with years of being pushed aside and not taken seriously, finally I got my chance to qualify for a home loan. During that time between, nobody responded to any questions I had, so much that I had to call the company again and redo my interest. In the beginning of the second time after qualifying, Chris was very hard to get in touch with. His assistant James Wiley was the only person who would quickly respond to any of my voicemails, emails, or text messages. James Wiley is the one who should be getting credit for this closing because James Wiley was the only one to take care of me as a client and the veteran using the loan. I was also forwarded to another loan specialist named Heather, who at first was good at getting me information I needed. Then, I quickly realized that she learned the same poor quality of professionalism as Chris Hill (same team). Anything on the task list, I immediately took care of within a 24 hour time frame to make sure everything was set. But, things went sour when both Chris Hill and Heather procrastinated so much that they wouldn't respond to emails or voicemails for weeks. How do you expect a client to obtain information if their questions aren't being answered? The last couple weeks prior to being approved, Chris Hill decided it would be a great time to show just how unprofessional he was. A phone conversation ( I really wish this company would record their phone calls) I had to initiate because Chris was ignoring my calls, voicemails, and emails for a couple weeks, proved how unprofessional this person was. He was so rude and raised his voice at me about how this was taking a while, used my children against me asking why I wouldn't do this for my children, that my children deserve for me to make this happen (no need for an attack when I am doing everything I can). When I mentioned how unprofessional he was acting, he immediately blamed me and stated that he wouldn't have to act this way if I had just did what I was told; which was baffling to me because I had just wasted weeks of trying to get information and questions answered from somebody unwilling to respond. He lied about never getting voicemails when I have phone record proofs, lied about not getting emails, when I would CC other loan officers into the email... The entire process was disgusting on how this company treats veterans. I am disgusted at the behavior from this Chris Hill and when I called a supervisor to address the situation, they stated how there wasn't much they could do but address a generalized conversation about customer service skills. It's nice to know that this company doesn't care about anything but a closing and based on my experience, not just this time, but having to deal with Chris Hill for the past 5 years, I would NEVER recommend Veterans United to any of my military friends. This company truly is a disgrace to allow the level of unprofessionalism and disrespect from Chris Hill. The one good thing I got out of this was my realtor, who absolutely saw the level of procrastination and disrespect I received because on the final days before closing, the loan officers (yet again) procrastinated on responding to emails from realtor, realtor's supervisor, and attorney.
very knowledgeable and highly recommend.
