Fortune Magazine names Veterans United Home Loans on its 100 Best Companies to Work For® List Three Years in a Row
COLUMBIA, Mo. – For the third consecutive year, Veterans United Home Loans has been recognized by Fortune Magazine as one of the 100 Best Companies to Work For®. The annual list is compiled by the international publication along with global research and consulting firm Great Place to Work®.
Veterans United is a national lender that was the No. 1 VA lender based on loan volume in 2017. The list is based on survey responses from more than 310,000 employees rating their workplace culture on 50-plus elements of the workplace. These include trust in managers, compensation, fairness, camaraderie and workplace traits linked to innovation. The ranking accounted for the experiences of all employees including women, people of color, LGBT individuals, older team members, and disabled employees.
The company was the No. 1 VA lender based on loan volume in 2017. It’s more than 2,300 employees focus on helping Veterans and their families secure homeownership. Veterans United’s success is tied directly to living out its employee-created values: Be Passionate and have fun, Deliver Results with integrity and Enhance Lives every day.
“As a company we don’t set out each day to win awards or receive recognition,” said Nate Long, CEO for Veterans United. “We do set out to enhance the lives of Veterans, our communities, our families and each other. Receiving this recognition is the awesome byproduct of doing just that. It’s a tremendous honor and is a direct testament to our employees to be named to this list.”
