The real estate, rental and leasing industry averaged 77 work-related deaths per year from 2008 to 2011. Of the 60 fatal injuries reported in 2011, 19 of those deaths were homicides.

Real estate is a dangerous field, and it’s imperative for agents to prioritize their safety. But what’s the best way to be safe on the job?
