Originally contacted them in April and got pre approval letter then. advised them in mid October that the house would be completed by Nov. 15th. I called again on Nov 2nd to insure closing on 11/15 and was told that they couldn.t close then, it was too soon for them to get appraisal, that we would have to wait until 11/30 to close. They finally got all of their requirements satisfied and closed on 12/11 almost a month later than requested. Very poor organization, not timely in response.
Veterans United is by far the best company to go through the home loan process with. Their professional staff answers questions promptly and puts the customer back in customer service. I have purchased four homes through traditional brick and mortar lending companies and I was a little nervous going through the process over the phone and via Email, But, the experience with the team at Veterans United left all those other lending companies far behind. I am glad that I made the decision to go with Veterans United Home Loans.
The quick service, easy and secure access to the online forms was awesome! The fact that we live a distance away from the actual business, That we could get a lot of this done on our time without having to come into an office every single time to update something or sign for something. Again major kudos to the overall experience.
This loan was started by NLC. I found out about 30 days into the process how incompetent they were. I switched to Veterans Untied after about 60 days of stress. In 28 days Veterans United had us at closing. My hat is off to you. Thank you for your determination and confidence.Grand slam for my lending team!
Nick Schuster and his staff were all wonderful! Nice to talk to. Never seemed annoyed. Easy to contact, professional, and understanding!
Everything was well explained and the transaction went smoothly
Sydney and Samantha were rockstars to work with, also Shawn from lighthouse. Everything was unbelievably easy.
Can be a grueling process but you work them, they return you results. Have patience,,,,, that's key
