I must add here how easy and convenient Veterans United made this first home buying experience for me. I thought when I first began contemplating home ownership that it would be an overwhelming trial. Not in the least. VU made the whole mortgage process an easy and simple step-by-step procedure from beginning to end. To those looking for their first or perhaps another mortgage, don't look elsewhere. Use Veterans United.
Everything was a breeze! No hard work anywhere on my end! My team was patient, polite, and knew exactly what they were doing! If I was to do it all over again in the next couple of years. . . . I WANT THE SAME TEAM lol! Thanks EVERYONE
Process was straight forward and well handled by them. Everyone was easy to contact. When I had to leave a phone message, they responded quickly. The web site was verrrry helpful. Very easy to check your loan status… If you are buying and selling things while applying for the loan, I would advise keeping very good records….(bills of sale etc…)
Veterans United is really there to help Military families get that loan so they can find there forever homes. They won't let you down and the process was not only smooth but fast. Thanks again!
Process very long. Too many steps had to be repeated. Communication needed improvement. But i would consider using then again. But as i stated the underwriters were horrible. Very bad
I will continue to use Veterans United in the future.

Experience first-hand why 206,344 homeowners give us a perfect score!
This was a great experience. Everything was basically done for us or led us through the process easily. I would recommend VUA to anyone Looking for a Va home loan.
5 star! They are organized and empathetic. The myVU portal is amazing! To have a very user friendly means to keep up with what's next makes the process so much easier. And add to that the educational tools to help us understand a very complex process is a blessing. I am going to continue to use my portal!
An easy experience.
Chris Lunn was my contacting agent. He is awesome and with out his help I would of gone to another lender to fund my home. Chris gets a 10 score. However, the company and Loan Coordinator Tyler Lentz is the reason for the low score. Tyler does not have people skills. Tyler needs to be re-trained on people skills especially when speaking to vets. Tyler clearly spoke down to me and with the attitude of "you want a loan get this done". Totally unacceptable. The lack of integrity and lack of professionalism of Tyler is the reason I worked with Chris. Tyler's supervisor also needs to be re-trained in people skills since the supervisor was backing Tyler. Company favoritism is also unacceptable.
Most of the process seem to be that the "left hand did not know what the right hand was doing". There were a lot of duplicated questions that were asked and had to be filled out. This has to cost your company several thousands of dollars each year for these duplications.
I would also receive phone calls from some unknown person saying that they were calling in regards to the financing. Turns out that Tyler Lentz was the one who told these people to call but did not follow-up with me via email or phone call to let me know what was going on or who would be calling. This is unacceptable and again Tyler lacks the integrity and professionalism that is needed in a situation such as this. It was this activity that almost stopped me from finishing the finance process.
Lastly, I was explained that all "Pay-off's would need to be set for the 10th of July. Funny thing is that the financing was funded on the 6th of July. As of the 12th of July one loan that was suppose to have been paid off by the July 10th has still not been paid off when this was written. A payment was made by me because after the lack of funding being paid by your company when they said it would be. This was a $11,000 plus loan that has still not been paid off. This again is unacceptable.

I want to say thank you for working with me during my original loan process and thru my refinance. I'm not a fan of surveys, I simply believe that if a person has a job to do he/she should do it to the best of their ability, after all you're being paid to do it. As far as working with each specialist, I have to say I guess they did what they were supposed to do as far as the paper work is concern. Because of who I am I've been treated difference all my life, I cannot say if anything special was done.
Jimmy and his team are very professional and extremely well knowledged. They make the refinance experience hassle free. I highly recommend Veterans United.
Veteran United is great in helping veterans in the home buying process Smooth and easy I had no problems finding a home and getting financed.U filled out most of the paperwork online so there wasn't a lot to do for closing.
Veterans United crew once again knocked it out of the ballpark. This crew is just exceptional at what they do. From the compassion to the dedication of getting the job done, this crew is second to none. Thank you so much to Mr. Perry and Veterans United. They got your six!!!
We are so thankful that we choose to work with VU when buying our home. PCSing is stressful enough all by itself, but add in buying a home and the stress levels go up. VU team is dedicated to helping take some of the pressure off of you. Once you begin the process of home buying, there is a whole team of people full of resources, just waiting to help you. I would recommend VU to anyone veteran looking to buy a home.
