i will definitely recommend
As a company There is good and bad- good they tried to rectify the situation as much as they could but I think they charge to much for their services.

I am so glad I picked Veterans United for my home loan. My loan officer and her team were absolutely fantastic to work with. As a first time home buyer I didnt know a lot or understand much and they were always friendly and willing to answer any and all my questions and go over things with me until I felt I understood. I expected the home buying process to be incredibly stressful but the two women that worked with me really made the process feel like it went smoothly and it didnt stress me out. Finding a house, dealing with Sellers and having to walk away from a house now that was all stressful. I ended up not using the VA side and went conventional which I didnt even know Veterans United did but I was so glad to find out I could still use them as my lender. I have already recommended them to my veteran friends. I really appreciated their patience helping me navigate through the process and during the Covid pandemic nonetheless! They worked from home but still answered my emails and text messages. Promise Jackson and Allison McGough thank you.
All throughout the process, the team made several mistakes and, what it felt like to me, completely dishonest. Going into the deal I already had underwriting approval through another bank, but I decided to switch to Veterans United after a talk with Matt Chapin. I made it extremely explicit to him that I was buying a duplex as an investment property and that I understand under GSE convention that a maximum LTV permitted was 75%. He assured me that Veterans United could do 80%. What really worries me, is that no one caught this until a few days prior to closing. To which, Garrett Holzum, responded with giving me the option to provide the underwriting paperwork to another bank. Garrett surely must know extremely well that no other bank will accept his underwriting and appraisal(they would do their own due diligence). He really left me with no option and had his diligence been so good would have caught this well before the closing. Beyond the shady practices of pulling customers in, they made several errors! There were errors in basic things like calculating DTI and mailing addresses. Even on closing day, the title company and my attorney had to talk to an intern who thought this was a VA loan and not an investor loan.

As a retired military veteran, this purchase was my second VA home buying experience. Veteran's United was much more efficient, knowledgable, friendly and helpful regarding the entire VA loan process, compared to the generic mortgage originator I used last time.
I highly recommend them for your home buying needs. You won't be disappointed!
The online portal made the process easy. The staff was very helpful and the whole homebuying experience was smoothe. I love my new home and I am so glad I bought with the help of Veterans United!!
