We have used Veterans United for 3 home purchases and 3 Refi's and this last refi was a nightmare. My calls often went unreturned, I was not given correct information, and was told we had to close a day later because Veterans was waiting on PennyMac to give the most recent payoff statement. When I received the final numbers, they were not matching mg PennyMac statement so I called PennyMac myself and was informed Veterans United had never requested the newest payoff, they were using the one and only payoff number they had received in September and we closed in November. I got the new payoff and had it faxed to Josh Salicco at 5pm the night before we closed at 9am the next morning on November 2nd.
This refinance could not have gone smoother.
