Little to no communication throughout the refinance process. I called and left messages on 4 different occasions and it took at least 48 hrs to receive a call back every time. Our original closing date was on Dec 1 and it was pushed back but no one ever told me. Dec 1 rolled around and nothing had happened so that's how I found out. I am currently in a position where I do not know with 100% certainty if my original loan has been paid off. It's the first of the month and my payment to lmy original loan is due ( maybe again I don't know). I called two days ago to try and get clarification on this issue and have not gotten a response yet. I understand this is a busy time rates are low and alot of people are wanting to refinance. I am happy with my new rate. The customer service has been good when I can actually talk with people but it is not easy to get in touch with anyone response times are to long. I'm trying to give the benefit of the doubt it's a time with very low rates and of course the holidays. But overall have not been happy with this process.

Buying a house is very stressful; however, there was very little stress working through the Loan process with Veteran's United. Our loan officer, Dave Llewellyn was great. He answered all our questions in a timely manner and there were no surprises. He told us that he would watch the interest rates and should they go they would refinance. We did not even have to call them - they reached out to us after the first year and reduced both our interest rate and our payment by nearly $300 a month. Hopefully we will be in our home forever, but if not we would use Veteran's United for our next home without a doubt. Thanks Team !

Worst thing I have ever encountered. Getting the mortgage was simple. Navigating the website for making a payment. Impossible. Never again.

Jeff was amazing. He made me feel like I was not just a number or a applicant. He made me feel like a friend that had only my best interest in mind because he did. He never made promises he couldn't deliver and always kept me updated and truly made a friend. Jeff is truly the best at what he does. My journey started with Jeff when I called in panic because I only had three weeks to a month to refinance my new home that was almost done, he then found out that I had a couple credit bumps and then sent me to the lighthouse program to matthew lange which was also amazing help. Then after I completed and did what was asked of me I then was sent back to jeff and ryan to complete my loan and they did that and more. Jeff and Ryan are the best at what they do and I will never use anyone but that team ! Thank You Jeff and Ryan so much for helping me and my family ! Semper Fi
