We had a pretty bad experience working with Veterans United, specifically our loan coordinator- Cameron Baker. Our insurance agent and real estate agent said the same thing.
Phil was very nice and was good at responding to voicemails and emails, but Cameron was awful. He did not tell us things until the last minute and then would take a week to respond to emails. My wife said it was awful trying to communicate with him and my realtor said the same thing. Cameron did not order things that needed to be done, he thought he could wait until the last minute, and then when we or our agents had questions about what needed to be ordered, he would not answer. This was so so stressful. This was supposed to be a good experience as we are first time home buyers, but I hated it. It was so unnecessarily stressful.And apparently I am not the only one who thinks this. Along with my realtor and insurance agent, my best friend, a 100% disabled veteran, got screwed out of a house and job for both him and his wife because of Veterans United.We had high hopes with you, but they were shot down.

I am a disabled veteran and my wife needed to do a lot of the work. The apartment we live in does not allow me to use my walker in it. Buying the condo was a necessity. I used veterans United again because of my experience with Jeff Gordon. However my experience with Beth Madden was less than optimal and led to a late closure which costs me hundreds of dollars in unexpected expenses for lodging fuel and food. The customer service and inability to return phone calls by her and the organization only added to already tumultuous situation and further complicated matters. It is because of this that I cannot in good faith recommend this company to and of my friends or family, and certainly not to the Marines under my charge.
