Military Kids Day at the Ballpark sponsored by Veterans United Home Loans

16 Military Kids Enjoyed a St. Louis Cardinals Game Courtesy of Veterans United

Every day at Veterans United Home Loans, we get the amazing opportunity to work with military members and their spouses. We are constantly inspired by the resilience, strength and dedication of these families when a loved one is deployed.

That's why for the second year in a row we teamed up with the Missouri National Guard to take a select group of military families who have a parent away on a deployment to a St. Louis Cardinals game. This event recognizes the sacrifices these unsung heroes make on a daily basis while their partners and parents are away.

This year, Veterans United took 16 kids to watch the Cardinals defeat the Chicago Cubs.

The Scorecard

  • Friday, July 27, 2018
  • 16 Kids from 12 Military Families
  • St. Louis Cardinals 5 - Chicago Cubs 2

"It's one way we can say thank you to our children and their parents / guardians for their daily sacrifices while their service member is deployed," says Pam Swan, director of military relations. "The support family members and loved ones provide for our deployed men and women is vital to the American way of life and cannot go overlooked."
