I started this journey not even thinking I was going to be approved. I decided to give it try and see what happens. I really wanted some questions answered, so I inputted my information and waited. The next day I got a call for Hana Shehadeh. She explained the process and I strarted to get all my forms filled out and the documents uploaded. A few hours later Hana called me and told me that my wife and I were preapproved. I was shocked. My wife and I had been working on fixing our credit and saving some money. Alex Bass set me up with a realtor, Liz Wandersee, who listened to what we were looking for down to the "T". The Saturday, My wife and I went to begin our search. We looked at five or six houses but one just stuck with us. We decided to put in an offer; I mean what the hell right? A couple hours later and some negotiating the offer was accepted (never thought it would happen). Allyson Walker, Hana Shehadeh, Alex Bass and Liz Wandersee made the rest of the process run VERY smooth. I was extremely impressed with not just the work but also the communication and their patience. The veterans united app is my favorite part about the company. It makes viewing your documents, viewing the loan progression stages, & getting updates quick and easy to understand. They even have built in lessons to teach about the stages as you go!
I really enjoy working with travis and dawn they are an amazing team and I really appreciate working with the same people who helped me get the house and know the history it so much easier then having to break in new people and bring them up to speed
Would have helped if when I asked about putting money down to lower my payment if they had explained about reducing the interest rate instead of the amount of the loan. Otherwise it was a really good experience. Thank you Veterans United team.
