Nice 2 see MLB honoring active duty military, but let’s not forget all those retired veterans… Some of us lived through 2 wars while serving our country whereas some of these active guys just came on board! Just saying, we are one family!
Miami’s is incorrect, they offer free games monday nights now.
Great catch! We updated the article to reflect the new program. Thanks for the help.
I called the Texas Rangers and asked for a military discount on tickets. They told me it was only available for online purchases. When I went online I could not find out any information at all about it. I even went through a purchase transaction, and it was never mentioned.
I also dug around their website. Based on their original policy as stated in our piece, you may only be able to get the discount by proving you a military ID, so either in person at the box office or purchasing tickets on the phone.
Sorry you went through all that trouble!

Hmmm, the article talks about MLB promotions for the 2012 season…but the specifics on the TB RAYS indicates the discount is good through the entire 2011 season for AD MIL members and Family….type-O or outdated info…headed to the stadium today….sure hope this still applies.
