I have been at Veterans United since 2020 after spending more than 32 years at the University of Missouri in government relations. We have lived in Columbia since I came to college and I met my wife Helen at Mizzou. We have three kids, including two who have worked at Veterans United so we are a VU family! Our daughter and son in law live in Kansas City with our two grandsons, and we have another son and daughter in law who also live there. We are all Mizzou and Kansas City Chiefs fans and love tailgating and going to games in the fall!

In my free time I love to ride mountain bikes on area trails with my sons and grandsons, and I have played banjo and guitar in a local bluegrass group for more than 15 years. I’m also an avid model railroader and am involved in several clubs and organizations building model railroads. My grandparents were all farmers and I have inherited several antique tractors including two old John Deeres and the Massey Ferguson I learned to drive on as a little kid in the 1970s.
