Hello my name is Matt Welles and I am passionate about helping people get into a shiny new home that could forever change their lives for the better. I am originally from Connecticut and spent most of my life there before moving to the Midwest in 2018. I lived in Kansas City (go Chiefs!) for four years before moving to St. Louis in 2022. I have a daughter who started kindergarten this year (2025-2026) and is maturing so fast (she’s mastered the eye roll). She loves Minecraft and YouTube. I worked in higher education under various roles for fifteen years before changing over to the mortgage industry. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Connecticut and a Master of Arts in English Literature from Trinity College in Hartford, CT. I love to read, watch/play sports (especially basketball and pickleball), go to the movies or a concert or a museum, and sometimes go see what STL nightlife has to offer!
