Quadruple Amputee Taylor Morris on the Path to Homeownership

As an explosive ordinance disposal technician, Taylor Morris' job was finding and dismantling bombs. While on patrol in Afghanistan in 2012, Taylor stepped on an IED, causing injury to all four limbs.

Now a quadruple amputee, Taylor won't let his injuries define him. The Navy veteran and his friends created a YouTube drifting video to challenge pro rally racer Ken Block to a ride.

Block invited Taylor and his friends out to a bison ranch in Potosi, Mo., to test drive with Block. And while Taylor still seeks thrills, he and his girlfriend, Danielle Kelly, are looking to settle down into homeownership.

With help from Veterans United Foundation, the Gary Sinise Foundation and Tunnel to Towers, Morris' dream of having a "smart home" to boost accessibility and his independence is close to coming true.
