2023

  1. AUSA National Service Award

    Veterans United was given this prestigious award at the annual AUSA convention, in recognition of the company’s service to Veterans and their families.

  2. VETS Indexes 5 Star Employer Award

    Veterans United was awarded the VETS Indexes 5 Star Employer Award, based on the company’s recruitment and support of U.S. Military Veteran employees.

  3. A Company that Continues to Care

    For the fifth time, Veterans United Home Loans found itself on PEOPLE Magazine’s prestigious Companies that Care list, coming in at No. 34 in the nation.

2022

  1. #ThanksToVeterans Tour Hits the Road

    An ambitious and highly-successful coast-to-coast RV tour was orchestrated to draw attention to Veteran causes, with the tour ending in San Diego on Nov. 11th for a Veterans Day celebration.

  2. Department of Labor Issues Prestigious Honor

    The company was honored with the Department of Labor HIRE Vets Gold Award, in recognition of efforts to recruit, employ and retain Veterans as an important part of the workforce.

  3. Best-Ever Fortune Magazine Ranking Comes Home

    Veterans United climbed all the way to No. 14 (a company-best) in the annual Fortune Magazine Best Places to Work rankings.

  4. Tango Receives Prestigious Award

    Only two years since beginning operations (and growing to over 400 employees), the St. Louis (Tango) branch office was named “Best Place to Work” by the St. Louis Business Journal in the “Big” category (250-999 employees).

2021

  1. 10 Years of Veterans United Foundation = $10 Million

    To commemorate its 10th anniversary, Veterans United Foundation celebrated by awarding $10 million almost 100 different nonprofit organizations across the country, including nearly $8 million of which went to mid-Missouri organizations and individuals.

  2. Fortune Magazine Continues to Recognize

    For the fifth consecutive year, Veterans United was recognized as part of Fortune Magazine’s Great Places to Work, coming in at a company-best 23rd!

  3. An Economic Driver for Mid-Missouri

    Despite the effects of the pandemic, Veterans United continued to grow, reaching over 4,500 employees overall, including over 3,500 in Columbia – making VUHL the city’s largest private employer.

  1. #HereForOurHeroes

    Veterans United joined Operation Gratitude’s Coalition to Support COVID-19 Frontline Responders. As part of our efforts, we launched a national campaign to send messages to Guardsman and those serving on the frontlines.

  2. $1 million COVID-19 donation

    Veterans United Foundation donated $1 million to purchase medical supplies for those on the frontlines of the coronavirus and to provide emergency relief to organizations and individuals affected by the pandemic.

  3. 200,000+ Unedited, Unfiltered Reviews

    A Marine Corps Veteran and his wife submit the company’s 200,000th review. Since 2013, Veterans United has received 150,000+ 5-Star reviews.

  4. Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award

    Company was awarded with the highest honor given to employers by the U.S. Government, for supporting Guardsmen and Reservist employees.

  5. An Exciting Year of Growth

    • Brand new offices opened up in Earth City, Mo., as the company expanded into the St. Louis work space
    • Sister company Paddio debuted in Springfield, Mo., to help put anyone (military or civilian) in their dream home
    • Veterans United Insurance was formed as an offshoot of the parent company to provide insurance products and personal property protection for home, auto, boats and more, with teams established in Jefferson City and Columbia
  6. Bright Lights & Holiday Nights

    An exciting new holiday tradition started at the Jake campus complex with a drive-thru holiday lights extravaganza open to the public for two weeks in December. The display included over one million light bulbs throughout the impressive one-mile drive and accommodated on average 1,000 cars per evening.

    In addition to closing more VA Loans than any other lender in 2019, Veterans United is the top VA Purchase Lender for 8 consecutive years: 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023!
