They were in constant communication via text, email, & phone conversations! Answered all of my questions & were very knowledgeable in their work! AMAZING! FAST! EFFICIENT! EASY! I had the best experience with VU! Great communication made it easy to understand my responsibilities as ive never bought a home before. Very unorganized, could never get updates or answers about anything in a timely manner. Loan coordinators would only bring up problems the day before they need to be done even after telling us for weeks that nothing needed to be done. One of our loan coordinators would only respond to emails once every couple of days to important questions or information. Went under contract in June and didnt close until the middle of November due to deed issues with the house. Veterans United needed more documentation but would not actually tell us what they needed and lied several times about when they would be obtaining the information so we could get everything done. The Realtor they paired us with was very unresponsive and ignored requests for showings and never actually helped us with anything in any way so we decided to not work with a realtor at all. Overall pretty terrible experience across the board without really any positives other than finally being able to close on the home.
This process started out is only a dream. I made a simple phone call from a Google search and ended up with Veterans United, Alberto and his team. What a God send. It is amazing and I am astounded at how smooth they really make the process. Along every single step they knew exactly what they were doing. The smallest of details were taken care of by their team. Veterans have enough to deal with with many returning from war, deployment, and time away from their families. It’s comforting to know that there’s a company out there that looks out for their well-being. Unfortunately, 10 is the highest grade you can grade someone on their scale, in our opinion, they deserve a much higher score. They took a dream and turned it into a reality, and for that we will be forever grateful. I could not recommend this team higher. Honestly, I think my whole loan team did a great and amazing job with not just communication but keeping a professional but also more personal relations with the recipients of the loans. I would like to thank them for that and all the support that I got throughout the process
Veterans United has lived up to their reputation every time we have dealt with them. They put the veteran first and do everything they can to make it an easy, painless process.
Unavailable, inattentive, uninformed, unprepared, and extremely unprofessional. By far The Worst Company I’ve ever done business with. Preapproved then had to be approved again. Had to submit the same forms over and over again. Loan officer went MIA midway through the process. No one knew her return date. Closing moved 3 times, took 2.5 hours to close, Title company was closed but forced to stay over, closing agents were literally in tears, ‘updated’ documents came through Not updated an hour and a half after the Title company closed. They tried to force us to drive 45 minutes to another Title location to finish closing. Refused to fund. Still had to return to Title company next day to sign documents missed by Lender. This ordeal was 40 days of infuriating chaos. Would Never use them again and would Never recommend.

We can't say enough good things about Veterans United! They were fantastic all through the pre-approval to the closing process. And their reps were easy to get in touch with and explained everything to us in an easy-to-understand way. We can't imagine what our mortgage experience would have been like if we had not been with Veterans United.
