Easy as it gets !! Chase took Great Care of me. All concerns and questions were answered right away .. He got me everything I needed. Outstanding!!
Working with Ashley Palmer, Bryan Kay and the rest of the team, was magnificent and I plan to recommend Veterans United to all my vetern friends that you all are the way to go. The way that team help us from start to finish, if I had any questions they were a phone call away, no matter what time of day. I am proud to be part of Veterns United Family. I've told Ashley and Bryan that when that when my daughter and son-inlaw are ready to make that step in home buying I will ask for them personally, but if I they are not available and everyone in this company work like that team then I know they will be in good hands. Thanks 😊 And a personal thanks to Ashley Palmer and Byan Kay, if your ever in the Houston area and need a place to stay you both are more thank welcome!
Darryl and Stacy Mcneely ❤️ 💕
Nathan was great. I do think it is a little over kill when the under writer is asking for the same info but in a different way. I sent 2 years IRS tax transcripts, my tax documents, W2s, and pretty much year to date worth of check stubs. I do contract work so I have a lot of W2s. Nathan and Kayla worked their butts off. They should be recognized for their service to clients and to your organization. Would have received a 10 rating but it was a lot of work. Stressed out to the point where I had thoughts like well if I don’t get the house that’s fine still in the one I own. Not like you need to move you just want something better.

Mr Kyle and his team are an outstanding team, they respond to any questions you might have and show you that they’re here for you. I would 100 percent recommend them for anybody interest in purchasing their new home.
Josh Kittle was the most unprofessional individual I have ever had to deal with. After dropping the ball on several occasions, and me calling him out on it, he tried to blame me for not being in contact with him for two weeks, which was not true and it turned out he was on vacation. He even had the nerve to call me dishonest for not including certain information that i didn't know needed to be included and told me that if I had a problem to take it up with my congressman. It was only when I submitted a complaint on him (which i still haven't heard back from anyone about) that things started to somewhat move forward. Bailey Daniel, another loan coordinator, then began to work with my and as hard as she tried, she was not much help either. The worst part about the situation is even though I put a complaint in on Josh Kittle and stated I did not want to work with him, they continued to have him over my transaction. I live in Alaska, and I spent money and time purchasing a ticket and on a hotel, so that I could be present for my closing and to pick up my keys for my home. My realtor also filed several extensions because veterans united kept coming back with requests that should have been done with an original request. (Example: they asked for tax returns and then turned around last minute to ask me for tax transcripts) simple things like that, could have sped up the process but apparently they didn't know or care about doing their jobs. Due to things like that, as well as them not submitting my paperwork on time and continuously waiting until the last possible minute to request things and sending documents up, I ran out of time and was only able to sign the documents. I was in town for 10 days, and during that time, absolutely nothing was accomplished. They didn't plan for the federal holiday and chose to wait until during the holiday to send the closing documents to the title company. The lady at the title company was gracious enough to come in on a day when their office wasn't even open to try and get everything fixed. If that wouldn't have happened then i would have had to handle everything by mail and being from Alaska, this would have delayed the process another 7 to 10 days. With all that, I still could not close on my home because I had to fly out that Monday right after i signed my documents, and the documents then had to be mailed out for the seller to sign. It was a complete disaster. I was not able to pick my keys up and my best friend had to pick them up for me the following Wed. This is my first purchase and I was excited but after wasting time and money, not to mention being dismissed on several occasions by veterans united loan coordinator, I will never use you again to purchase anything. Not even a stick of gum. The only reason i continued to use veterans united was because so many others put so much work into getting me into that home and i also had invested so much time and effort trying to make this happen. Not to mention by starting over, I would have lost the almost $2000 is spent on my inspection and appraisal and the home would have gone back on the market. My realtor will also never work with anyone who is using veterans united and i will 100% recommend to anyone i ever speak to about buying a home, that they use ANYONE but veterans united. If i could give you a real rating, it would be a -10.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Michael,
I'm truly sorry to hear how your first homebuying experience unfolded. This should have been an exciting milestone, but instead it sounds like you were left carrying the weight of repeated delays, unexpected obstacles, and interactions that made you feel dismissed rather than supported. I can understand why you'd walk away feeling so disappointed.
It's especially discouraging to hear that after raising concerns during the process, you didn't feel they were acknowledged in a meaningful way. No one should feel like they have to fight to be heard while navigating something as important as purchasing a home, and I'm sorry that your experience left you without the confidence and support you expected from us.
I also hate to hear that the challenges throughout your loan process affected your travel plans, closing experience, and what should have been the moment you finally received the keys to your new home. Those are memories that should be positive, and it's disappointing to know yours were overshadowed by so much frustration.
I'd appreciate the opportunity to review your experience and better understand everything that occurred, including the concerns you previously reported. If you're open to talking, you can reach me at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com.
Sincerely,
Claire S., Client Relations Manager
