This was our first home buying experience. Our assigned team were amazing! Shane was always available for our many questions and concerns. He made us feel each concern was valid and took the time to make ensure we got the answers and explanations we needed. I hope everyone gets a person like him to work with. I am not sure if they make them like Shane L. though! Mark M. was great also! He made sure all the i’s were dotted and t’s were crossed so everything went smoothly without any issues. Great team and a great experience for what often is a stressful time! Highly,
Highly recommend Veterans United. Now my checklist is finally complete!! 🙂

Andrew Beckett and his team have been a wonderful experience, not only during my most recent closing, but also dating back to February 2016, when I closed on my very first home. Having the opportunity to work with Andrew and his team again years later speaks volumes about the level of trust and confidence I have in them. From beginning to end, Andrew and his team demonstrated professionalism, knowledge, patience, and excellent communication. The home-buying and closing process can sometimes be stressful and overwhelming, but they worked diligently to make the process as smooth and comfortable as possible. Whenever I had questions or needed clarification, they were responsive, helpful, and willing to take the time to make sure I understood everything.

Joe was an amazing professional to work with, very knowledgeable, and caring. Because of him and his team, they made our dream of owning our first home a reality. Joe has made this process very easy and stress free. We could have never imagined that this process could be so simple, but I truly believe that Joe is the reason that it was. My family and I will forever be thankful for what Joe has done in making our life long dream come true. Thanks Joe and God Bless.

My house is not functional all the wiring is loud all the water drainage electrical problems all my trees are broken a plane flys over my head daily hundreds of birds in my yard a tornado type wind shaking house daily
Highly disturbing
I told my real estate agent Yadi oliveras also sent pictures to her and the builder they stopped communicating
The neighbors next door have a loud dog they make noises their company is cartel members it’s hell living here it’s only been a week

Response from Veterans United

Hi Charlene,
I’m sorry to hear how difficult your first week in your new home has been. Dealing with concerns about the electrical system, drainage, and other conditions so soon after moving in would be incredibly frustrating, especially when you feel you haven’t been able to get the answers you need.

The VA appraisal evaluates the home’s value and certain readily observable property conditions, but it isn’t a substitute for a comprehensive home inspection and may not identify every issue. While Veterans United doesn’t control the condition of the property, I’d like to better understand your experience and help point you toward the appropriate resources. Please contact me at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com.

Sincerely,
Claire S., Client Relations Manager

From day 1, when I met David Fields, he's been instrumental during the entire process. He told me then, and continued to tell me, "if there's anything you need or questions you need answered, call me anytime". True to his word he was. Called several times after hours and even the holidays, but it was by accident due to the time zones and I work 2 weeks straight and get lost with, "is it Monday or Saturday", type thing.
But yes, I couldn't have done it without the assistance of this great team. A truly collaborative team.
One thing is to have tools readily accessible as an employee, and another is mastering these assets that have been provided to the team. One can really notice the streamline program that has been developed for customers like me. But ince again, I bring it back to the professional that masters their craft. This entire team are truly masters of their craft.
So YES, I would highly share my experience with anyone and definitely recommend Veterans United.!!

Issue #1) Problems (plumbing) were discovered during the initial inspection of the house. We asked that the plumbing be fixed before we buy the house. The home inspector told our realtor that the plumbing was fixed (corrected). The realtor didn’t do a follow up to confirm the problem was fixed. When we moved in, we discovered that the problem was not fixed. (It was still the same, no attempt to fix it) We are still trying to get the problem fixed but running into dead ends.
Issue #2) We were told that the standing grey water (2-3 inches deep) approximately 12-15 feet in diameter over the septic tank was normal. Come to find out that’s not true. Also, according to the next-door neighbors, the previous owners had a septic truck come out and do some work on the tank about 10-14 days before we moved in. This was not relayed to us or anyone else. Multiple people (neighbors, yard maintenance and handyman) have told us there is a problem with the septic tank. So no assistance with that currently.

Response from Veterans United

Hi Steve,
I’m sorry you’ve been dealing with these plumbing and septic concerns after moving into your home. I can understand how upsetting it would be to believe these issues had been addressed before closing, only to discover otherwise.

A VA appraisal is intended to assess the property’s value and condition based on what is readily observable, and it isn’t a substitute for a home inspection. While Veterans United doesn’t control the inspection or repairs, I’d like the opportunity to learn more about what happened and see how I can help point you in the right direction. Please reach out to me at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com.

Sincerely,
Claire S., Client Relations Manager
