I highly recommend Veterans United. Having dealt with other mortgage lenders I can tell you they are the most knowledgeable when it comes to the VA Loan process. Even if you have undesirable credit; they have a team that coaches you on how to build it back up. You never have to worry about being embarrassed because there is no judgement. They really there to help. Although there is a lot of running around and document requirements in the beginning, I can assure you it is for a good reason. They are very thorough therefor making sure there are no surprises when it comes to closing.

For first time home buyers, Veterans United is the way to go. The communication is outstanding and you always feel as though they have your best interest at heart. I can sincerely say I would have given up on finding a home if it was not for their support.
Everyone we worked with was great, never felt rushed and always got answers when they were asked. The user interface on the VU website was miles ahead of anyone else's, everything was right there and easy to understand, a huge time saver when going back to previous loan estimates or checking on documentation needed. The refinance process is a bear but it was made relatively painless by VU. We'd use VU again.
We are beyond blessed with most outstanding customer service of this entire process. Thank you to our entire team who made this all possible. We couldn’t have done it without everyone’s knowledge and expertise.
The process is long, but worth it in the end. Ask for Matt or Becca; they do not disappoint.

I am so happy to have chosen Veterans United. I received so much assistance with all of the questions I had being a first time home buyer. Their due diligence in ensuring I closed on time was outstanding. I cant thank them enough. Now my family and I are excited to start this new journey of owning our first home. Like I said, I never thought buying a house was so easy. The communication was spot on. Any issues where handle in timely. We are so thankful for their professionalism.
The beginning went well, but as we got deeper into the process they were all over the place, not clear on things and we felt we had to micromanage the whole process since we got conflicting information from each person we worked with. Hopefully they use this as a training moment to make sure everyone is educated on process and on the same page. We would not recommend them. When you work with a company to guide you through such a stressful process, one of the big investments and important purchases you are making, you expect clear direction throughout the process, which was not our experience, at all. Spoke with Charlie who is very high up in company to share some of our concerns and all he did was gaslight us and not validate any of our concerns. I looked at the better business bureau after our closing to see what was there as far as complaints, and it confirmed a lot for us that it wasn’t just us. Wish we did that prior to choosing Veterans United as we would have choosed another company to work with. On a positive note, we LOVE our house and are so grateful to be in the other side now.

Communication was excellent. I always felt like we were always on the same page. They knew what I wanted at each step before even talking to me.
You folks do a lot of loans, as such you should be in position to employ underwriters that can work with and no the intricies of small businesses. We're small and it probably didn't matter to VU, but you almost lost the loan as we were told by your staff to find another bank.!!!
