Is there a cost to attend?

Where We Once Stood is completely free to attend. Registration is required, so be sure to secure your spot before the event reaches capacity.

Is there parking?

Public transportation highly encouraged. Direct callers to the nearest Metro stop. Farragut West (0.5 miles, a 12-minute walk via the Blue, Orange or Silver lines) and Farragut North (0.7 miles, a 15-minute walk via the Red Line).

Are there age restrictions?

Yes. Due to the mature and sensitive nature of some content featured in Where We Once Stood, attendees must be 10 years of age or older. We appreciate your understanding as we work to share these Veterans' stories authentically and respectfully.

What should I wear?

Business professional or cocktail attire is suggested. Military equivalent is warmly welcomed. Vietnam Veterans, come as you are.

Can I take photos or record during the event?

Absolutely! We encourage guests to take photos and videos throughout the event and share them on social media. However, photography, video, or recording of any kind is not permitted during the film itself. Please keep phones and cameras put away once the screening begins.

Will the Veterans featured in the film be at the screening?

Yes! Guests will have the unique opportunity to experience their stories on screen and hear from these Veterans during a live panel following the film.

What happens after I register? Will I get a confirmation email?

After submitting your registration, you'll see an on-screen confirmation that your spot has been received. You will not receive an automated confirmation email. Closer to the event, registered guests will receive a Know Before You Go email with important details and reminders.
