Shawn and team were quick, thorough and efficient.

Our experience with VU didnt go well! We have other family that have used them and it went good. I think VU as a whole their system to send and receive and sign Docs is great. With that being said the office in Columbia, MO did a terrible job wouldn't return my phone calls but would continue to reach out to my wife. There was no such thing as a rate lock it was constantly changing until we informed them we may go with a different lender then it all of a sudden came down. Trey Barrow and his team Lani and Dan we feel didn't not work for us. No one communicated with us as to how much to bring to close. Even our notary who was there with us signing saw different numbers that didnt make sense. Would I recommend VU yes for their process and simplicity but I would not recommend the Columbia, MO office or specifically trey and his team.

The best experience making a home purchase you could possibly have.

Without Ben and his team sticking by us and working the issue that we had was selling our other home I don’t think this would’ve been possible. This by far is the best team I have worked with or many years buying houses. The entire team worked hard and long after the sale of my home fell through to make things happen very quickly. I appreciate the ball.

I would recommend Veterans United one thousand percent and then some. They were so communicative throughout the entire process. Never once did I feel as though I did not understand what was happening or lost. Any questions that I did have, they answered and were extremely patient. The entire VU team was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. It made me feel as though this was not my first time buying a home because it felt so natural. I was afraid the process would be long, hard, and maybe someone would pull the wool over my eyes. But the transparency of the VU team made all those fears go away. They truly are in this for the right reasons and it shows. They helped me and my family purchase our first home in less than a month and we are forever grateful and blessed!

Sullivan and his team have been phenomenal during this quick and easy process. Steve Philpot our realtor is an amazing person. Genuine, down to earth, all around a really cool dude. Over all the entire process has been painless. Thank you all!

Abby, Alyssa, and Joseph were super great and helpful! I would absolutely recommend anyone I knew seeking to get their forever home to use Veterans United, specifically the SA team even if they had to drive a ways.

Amazing. The whole team was super responsive and helpful.

Chris Lippmann and Blair were very helpful with helping me thru the refinancing process of my home loan.

VU has treated me with kindness and respect every step of the way. They kept me informed about every important detail, and gave me every option available.

Very easy to work with, answered all my questions and very punctual with returning calls. Made buying my first home a breeze.

Working with Brice at Veterans United was an absolute blessing. As a first-time homebuyer navigating this journey on my own after divorce, I was honestly nervous about the process—but Brice made everything feel manageable and even exciting. He was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, patient, and truly a steady guide through every step. What stood out most was how attentive and supportive he was—not just with me, but with making sure my daughter and I felt confident and cared for the entire way. Thanks to Brice, we’re now in our beautiful new home, living the American dream once again. If you're looking for a lender who is organized, trustworthy, and genuinely invested in your success, I can't recommend Veterans United—or Brice—highly enough!

This is my second home buying experience with VU and both have been amazing. The team made the process simple and straightforward. Thanks to Daniel and Adam’s help, we were able to from preapproval to closing in less than 30 days.

Kyle and Gray were great. They were very responsive to questions, extremely professional, and a delight to work with. What I didn't like, but what also made my expereicne less than favorable, was an $8,000 add-on to my closing cost, because of a tax bill that popped up from no where. I understood someone neglected to share it with Kyle and Gray earlier in the process. If it were not for that major disappointment, I would rank the experience a "10."

Working with Reed and the Team at Veterans United was exciting and a delight to have a group of top-notch professionals working toward one common goal-our homeownership.Never were there days of frustration or uncertainty working with this amazing team, who often anticipated our needs with a ready solution and found everyone always attentive providing excellent customer service with each interaction. The Veterans United Team was Magnificent! Thanks again for assisting us becoming homeowners.

Always there for me even on thier vacations and days off. Thank you to Derek and the whole team.

The staff was very professional and communicated when there were any hang ups. They made sure we were in the know the entire time.

Overall the process was smooth. It was difficult being a service member overseas trying to coordinate everything. Working the homeowners insurance was confusing and seemed like we were only being offered very expensive quotes. USAA insurance was much cheaper for the same coverage. Coordinating the closing documents with the title company was also confusing and not a lot of communication, leaving unsure what we were supposed to do the day of closing. I know this was just part of the difficulties being overseas, but earlier communication would’ve helped.
