Our original experience with VU was exceptional. We felt the refinance started out the same way, but kind of fell off. We were originally told our loan would close in 10 days, we finally closed with only days to spare.
Communication during the refinance was not as dynamic as before. We just felt "forgtte" once the process began, maybe we just fell through the cracks.
I would recommend Veterans United one thousand percent and then some. They were so communicative throughout the entire process. Never once did I feel as though I did not understand what was happening or lost. Any questions that I did have, they answered and were extremely patient. The entire VU team was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. It made me feel as though this was not my first time buying a home because it felt so natural. They were both so professional and gave easy instructions on all forms needed, by giving us a checklist. They were great at answering any questions that we had. The loan team dropped the ball more than once. Communication was poor, I had to constantly chase people down for information and to get them to follow through. Very disappointing our second go around was so bad as our first one was great.
