One of the best experiences I’ve encountered and they helped every step of the way to make sure everything goes smoothly.

Zach and Britney were very helpful and quick with answers.

I never realized home buying and financing could be so seamless and easy!

Absolutely recommend Rich! If you need someone that is down to earth and just gets it… he is the Man for the job. Human, realistic and humble.

Sam and his team were with me every step of the way, helpful to a t, and checked in often. I appreciate that the VU experience continues to be top notch. A huge reason I came back for my 2nd home purchase is because of my fantastic experience the first time, and now I'll continue to recommend VU to everyone I know looking to purchase a home.

Lily, Joshua, Brittney, and Orion were all soo helpful when it came to buying my first home, it didn’t matter what questions i had they all were able to answer my questions and made sure i understood completely and made the process run smoothly.

He’s calm and straightforward. Always available to help.

VU was supportive at every step and phase of the loan process. Everyone, including Joe, Amy and Megan answered all of my questions and helped me navigate everything I needed to do. Thank you Veterans United.

Smooth and easy process.

I had a very problematic experience with Veterans United. In once case, the loan coordinator shared the results of the home appraisal with the sellers realtor AFTER the contract had been terminated and without consultation of us, the buyers. At closing, VU struggled with compiling the closing paperwork to support closing with our family trust as the deeded owners of the property and closing was delayed because of this and subsequently we had to redo the paperwork because they changed the requirement for how the paperwork was to be signed. At one point, the person compiling the closing paperwork stated they had never done paperwork to close with a trust.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Lionel,
I’m really sorry to hear about the challenges you faced during your loan process. What you described with the appraisal information and the closing paperwork sounds incredibly frustrating, especially after all the time and effort that goes into buying a home. That’s not the experience we want for any of our borrowers.
My team would love the opportunity to review your loan file in detail and see where things may have gone wrong. If you’re open to a quick conversation, you can reach us at 1-800-212-5200 or by email at ClientAdvocate@vu.com. Our Client Advocate team is available Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time, and we’re happy to help however we can.

My overall experience was awesome. The team was their for any questions I had and they carried us through the process with their expertise. I appreciate all of the team 100%.
