Would Recommend

Home buying can be an exciting but stressful time. In our case, we were selling our current home which made it even a bit more of a challenge. But, Tyler and the team at Veterans United really made it as smooth and hassle free as possible. The home buying platform is easy to use and makes document sharing seamless. Would absolutely recommend!

We would wholeheartedly recommend Veterans United! There are a few I would like to thank individually starting with Dylan Bailey, The one who reached out first. He continued to thrive not just monthly but every other week to make sure everything was going smooth, in not just guiding us in the right direction, But also had a caring and understanding heart during rough patches. He unknowingly gave us hope. He never gave up.
Also, you would like to thank Anthony Perrigo, he was just a perfect addition to the VU team for us. He made the process beyond relaxing and unnerving. Major kudos! His efforts were noticed. We could not have asked for a better team... You didn't just help get a home, you made an imprint on our hearts... Forever thankful!

First, Madison does Not return phone calls. This is very frustrating. I sent in a letter from the mortgage company on my previous home that had in bold black letters, PAID IN FULL. The day before closing, I was asked to DocuSign a statement saying that my current house was paid in full. The closing statement wasn't sent to me until the day before the closing and then we had to wait another 3 days to close. I specifically stated that I had to close on or before October 1, 2025. Your employees and their lack of attention to detail kept this from happening. Also, on September 23, 2025, I sent photos of the water heater line being encased in conduit and the drain line draining to the outside of the house. I was asked about when the repair was going to be done the day before the theoretical closing.I do not appreciate having to resend documents because your employees are negligent in their jobs. I have previously bought and sold 9 houses and 3 pieces of property. I have never received such poor service from a mortgage company.At this point, I would never recommend your company to an enemy, and certainly not to a friend. This is the worst mortgage experience that I have ever had.

The stress and frustration you described around communication, document handling, and closing delays aren’t what we want for anyone working with us. You should always feel informed and supported, especially as closing approaches.

Sometimes additional verification is needed right before closing to confirm details or meet loan requirements, but that shouldn’t come at the cost of clear and timely communication. I’m sorry that didn’t happen here.

PUT IT OFF WAY TOO LONG FOR SOMETHING Veterans United made so easy...OH MY GOODNESS,, THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH. I went into this scared and confused. Pretty certain I was shooting for Jupiter. YOU ALL MADE IT SO EASY. I was dealing with other issues in my life at same time, but the part with this loan was simple enough to let me keep going. I lost my mother 10 days before closing but this process kept my mind occupied. NOW I am relaxing in a home to totally love.

Ross Mclanahan and Anna Lower and Justin Sutton were the ones we dealt with during the process of getting our home. Anna has taught us some very important lessons on how to build and maintain our credit score that we will be continuing for the long term, she made it so easy even a caveman could do it and she was wonderful through the entire process. Ross will shoot it to you straight from the get go and keep you on a steady line to success. He has been our rock during this process and we have relied on him heavily and we truly appreciate everything he has done to get us into our home. Both Ross and Anna are impeccable people both very professional and equally personable with their clients and I could not have hand picked better people for us to have. Justin has been wonderful also, we did not have as much time with him as we did Anna and Ross but if you have a question he will do whatever he needs to do to get you the answer and he almost always answers your call on the first ring. He made it so easy to get ahold of him and finish the last of our to do list. 10/10 I highly recommend this team! Thank you veterans united for all that you do and stand for!
