This time for refinancing I went through Ben Choi and he was great. He made sure I understood every part of the process with it being my first time. I always recommended veterans united to all my military family.
Austin and the entire team were great. It was great to be able to close within 3ish weeks. The team was always very helpful and quickly accessible. Austin was very professional throughout the entire process. My only major complaint with Veterans United is the 1% origination fee that they choose to charge (which they waived in my case), other than that my two home buying experiences with Veterans United have been awesome.

This is our 2nd time purchasing a home with Veterans United. They were always in communication with us and made themselves available even on weekends. Their “To-Do” list helped us keep track and focus on what we needed to be working on and where we were in the overall process, which helped tremendously lessen the feeling of being overwhelmed for those of us with anxiety. I (spouse of Veteran) have purchased a home in the past and that experience was chaotic and had me on an emotional roller coaster for almost 2 months. The process with Veterans United was right at a month from entering into a purchase agreement to closing. Too many positive differences between my two home buying experiences. I will always recommend Veterans United!! A++++I also wanted to share my experience with Jamie Milholland, Senior Credit ConsultantShe helped me (spouse) increase my credit score to be able to qualify to be on the loan with my husband. He has great credit, me not so much. She looked at my credit reports and we came up with a plan to increase my scores. She checked in with me weekly at first and at the end of the month we checked my credit score and made any adjustments needed to continue to increase my credit. February 27th-April 1st my credit score went from 580 to 628. She was nonjudgmental regarding my past financial mistakes and focused on helping me get where I needed to be. As of May 1st my credit score is 640 and it just continues to increase as I continue to implement her plan. If it wasn’t for Jamie we not have been able to include me on the mortgage.
We can't say enough good things about Veterans United! They were fantastic all through the pre-approval to the closing process. And their reps were easy to get in touch with and explained everything to us in an easy-to-understand way. We can't imagine what our mortgage experience would have been like if we had not been with Veterans United.
Everyone was very understanding and supporting throughout the whole process. There were times we felt overwhelmed but then got back on track without any issues. Ryan S. is very knowledgeable on the whole process which helped us make the best financial decision for us.

The documents requested are not the long list most mortgage companies and lenders require. That was so nice.
We have been overwhelmed by how amazing the customer service has been! We do feel like this has been missing from today's society, so that makes VU stand out even more. We can't imagine trying to go a different route with this when we do move again.
