Overall great process but communication between my closing attorney and VU requires improvement. Specifically, I had to be the go between for a lot of communications including sending files that they could not send to each other.

Everything was fine at first but near the end I was worried because numbers were not matching up and I felt like I was sitting at a car dealship negotiating rates and pricing. But in the end it all worked out.

My loan agent Joel was phenomenal. On three separate occasions he's stayed on the phone with me for well over an hour explaining each detail and patiently answering my questions. He and his team were easy to get a hold of, always happy to answer our questions, and gave honest input at every turn. They made the process understandable and enjoyable. Can't recommend Joel and his team enough. He has even made sure I know I can reach out to him even though I've already finished the home purchase!
