Our loan officer Kevin, could not have done a more outstanding job helping us through everything! Kevin is a one of a kind loan officer! Highly recommended! Thank you, Veterans United!
In fact a relative did just use you in Boise as well, and closed a few weeks ago.

We had our original lender fall through just a week before closing. We had previously gotten pre-approved through VU, so my realtor suggested reaching out to them again as a last-ditch effort. We worked with Don Smith's team, and they were outstanding! They even price-matched the previous lender's interest rate with no out-of-pocket costs to us. They were able to close our manufactured home in just 16 days! They were professional, easy to get a hold of, communicated well, and just fast overall. They took each new hurdle in stride and really fought for us. When it comes to Don's team, I would choose to work with them time and time again. Without them, we wouldn't have our house now.
Underwriting had us go through what felt like a lot of unnecessary steps to prove our worthiness for the loan despite multiple pre-approvals at different dollar amounts.
Maybe this is more of the realtor's responsibility, but it would have been nice if someone would have advised us that the seller might leave all their Airbnb furniture and artwork in the house. Then we could have requested for it to be removed instead of allowing them to leave stained and burnt furniture, and weird artwork. I think what happened was the seller decided to leave all their Airbnb junk when we requested a $5000 credit back for maintenance fees. Kind of like "well if I'm giving you a $5000 credit back then you can also deal with all this junk" which I just think was highly unprofessional.
This is the place you want to be if you are purchasing a home. I am sure that Veterans United has many qualified people, but my Loan Specialist is the best. Ask for Mystle Schellhorn, she will get you through the process in a very professional and friendly way. Mystle has been dealing with me and my struggles, but does not give up on helping out. She knows who to partner with such as Jimmie Drapier as an underwriter, and he is excellent. Mystle Schellhorn has become a friend to my wife and I due to the fact she knows her business, and she cares for her clients.
VU has always taken great care of me and made my home buying experience. Look forward to working with them again.
