Craig and his team were exceptional getting us the exact parameters we desired for our home loan, even going as far as adjusting terms the final week prior to closing. His team understood our situation, attempting to sell in one location and purchase in the next as part of a military transfer, and were able to expeditiously respond to our many concerns along the way in a helpful and confidence-inspiring manner.
Mathew Brilhart and his assistant were awesome. The rest of the organization was the worse I have ever dealt with in my my 30 years of buying homes. Unbelievable horrible to the last minute.
The team was great; they made this process seamless.
Honestly I've known homelessness in my life, as a teen before the Navy and again after the Navy at a time I felt the VA had thrown me under the bus. Allot has changed in my life, I've consciously and often privately worked on myself, sowed allot of seed in the hope of a better tomorrow for many years. Then after about 17 years living in a trailer park I decided I'd had enough of the locals affecting my state of well being. Tired of watching them in my cameras getting way to close to my cars and property, constantly disputing my Sanctuary. And so I told my wife, let's buckle down and find a way to buy a house. At that point we were starting from scratch. So when I discovered Joseph Sepulveda of Veterans United I was full of hope. The level of Support is truly what made this happen.I believe Joseph was the pillar of strength I needed, and the reason I am a home owner today. Yes, I sowed the seeds and by the providence of God, Joseph was able to help make it happen on his end.My message to any Veteran who's thinking they have outgrown your current life, I encourage you to believe in yourself and in Veterans United to handle the rest.Because you can do this.
- Take a chance on yourself & the new life you deserve that's just around the corner.
- Peace
I had a pleasurable experience with Veterans United and even after closing on the home, they said they would be there for any questions I would have. My whole team has been great even through the delays by the seller. I would recommend Veterans United to any veterans looking to use their VA loan to buy a house.
I would not recommend Veterans United to support Veterans with a home loan. The underwriter took the longest and I do have regrets going through Veterans United who was recommended to me from another Veteran.
Very kind, patient, and helpful. Will recommend you to other veterans. 100 percent satisfied.
Nick was attentive and considerate throughout the entire home buying experience ! His concern and consistency elevated the financial process and understanding. The best service while purchasing during an active deployment.
I appreciated all the effort that this team put into getting this home sale completed and the follow up to ensure that I was more than satisfied.

Experience first-hand why 379,956 homeowners give us a perfect score!
The Veterans United team provided an excellent, caring and professional experience. They instilled confidence in their knowledge-base and provided the sought after guidance I was hoping for. After my first call with Danny, I knew I was in good hands.
The entire team was patient and great about keeping me informed about what is going on.
I really didn't appreciate the way Shawn and Jaclyn tried to handle me as if I was a welfare case. Never was there a good morning or how's everything going everything was through text message or email and when I called straight to voice message. I'm a veteran who served my country and the reason they have a job today I earned my home and hate how people take us for granted. Although Shawn was diligent in his work habits and lot of us veterans are not the same as we once were do to the fact war has a life altering effect. So that's how I feel.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Torance,
I’m sorry you were left feeling this way. Buying a home is deeply personal, and you deserved to feel respected, heard, and treated like a person throughout the process. I can understand why relying heavily on texts and emails, along with calls going to voicemail, made the experience feel impersonal and frustrating.
I also appreciate you recognizing the diligence you saw in Shawn’s work, even while sharing where the experience fell short for you. We’re grateful you trusted Veterans United with your home loan, and I’m sorry our communication didn’t leave you feeling as valued as it should have.
I’d appreciate the opportunity to hear more about your experience. Please reach out to my Client Advocate team at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. The team is available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time, Monday through Friday, and messages outside those hours are typically answered the next business day.
Sincerely,
Claire S., Client Relations Manager
