September 19, 2016

COLUMBIA, Mo. Veterans United Home Loans, a full-service VA lender, is proud to announce Achievers, an industry leader in employee recognition and rewards solutions, named it one of the Elite 8 for its 50 Most Engaged Workplaces. The Elite 8 distinction recognizes the eight companies that received the highest scores for each of the Eight Elements of Employee Engagement the criteria used to determine the Most Engaged Workplaces winners. Veterans United received the highest score in the Vision & Values element.

"Our values serve as our road-map at Veterans United," said CEO Nate Long, Veterans United Home Loans. Everything we do within our company we try to ensure we are thinking about them. For us these aren't just words on a piece of paper, it is who we are as people and as a company. Receiving this recognition is both an honor and a testament to our employees' commitment of living by these values they created together and a focus on truly enhancing the lives of the Veterans we serve, our community and each other.

The Achievers 50 Most Engaged Workplaces Awards are designed to recognize and celebrate top employers in North America that display leadership and innovation in engaging their workplaces, as evaluated by judging panel of employee engagement academics, thought leaders and influencers. Among the 50 companies selected as winners, the judging panel selected eight companies that represent the best of the best, with regards to the Eight Elements of Employee Engagement.

The Elite 8 and all 50 Most Engaged Workplaces award winners were officially recognized during the annual awards gala that was held this year at the Steam Whistle Brewery in downtown Toronto. Additional information can be found at: http://www.achievers.com/engaged.
