October 24, 2014

Company in the spotlight for its strong workplace culture

COLUMBIA, Mo. - Veterans United Home Loans announced it was recognized as one of the 2014 Best Places to Work by the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Missouri Business magazine. The company is one of six Missouri businesses to receive the award in its inaugural year.

Veterans United received the award based on its excellence in four key business functions: innovation; management and career development; personal needs and community involvement and financial success.

"It really is our employees who make Veterans United such a great place to work," said Amanda Andrade, the company's chief people officer. "As an employer, we feel the award is a direct reflection of the work environment we support and our employees preserve by living our Values: Be passionate and have fun, deliver results with integrity and enhance lives every day."

The winners were recognized at the 2014 Best Places to Work Conference on Oct. 23 on the University of Missouri campus. Veterans United will be featured as an award winner in the November issue of Missouri Business magazine.
