I like how the process works especially for first time home buyers. Kenny and his team are amazing at their work and able to communicate back and forth with me. From the time of submitting all the necessary paperwork 'til the end, it was a lot to work with. Everything was a smooth sail, but the underwriting process needed to be at least 2 weeks prior to the closing date. I was working with at least a week, starting from the weekend, but was notified to submit extra paperwork such as a name issue that was a letter off. That took about a few days to complete, but requesting for an expedite process took some time. I didn't get a free to close until the day before my closing date. That was stressful because I had multiple plans and took Leave for my closing date. However, we are overall happy that we were able to complete the entire process on time!
Sam and his team continues to be there after signing the paperwork for our home. We’ve been in the house since 07/2025 and recently reached out to let is know that we were eligible for refinancing at better rates which would lower our mortgage. This came to us at the perfect time. We weren’t really sure about this BUT put our trust in Sam and his team and it went seamless. Thank you!

Shawn Workman and his team were the best! He was there to answer any question I had.The underwriters on the other hand. Why ask me to explain something, then ask for proof of the explanation? Just ask for the proof to begin with. And you would expect an underwriter for a VA home loan to know what documents are available on va.gov.

You simply check the app for any, "To Do" items, take care of those items and the next thing you know, you get the, "Clear to close." Hoarce Johnson and Evan Heath did an outstanding job getting my loan approved. They both stayed in touch, ensuring all my questions or concerns were addressed on a timely manner.
