I would recommend Veterans United one thousand percent and then some. They were so communicative throughout the entire process. Never once did I feel as though I did not understand what was happening or lost. Any questions that I did have, they answered and were extremely patient. The entire VU team was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. It made me feel as though this was not my first time buying a home because it felt so natural. I was afraid the process would be long, hard, and maybe someone would pull the wool over my eyes. But the transparency of the VU team made all those fears go away. They truly are in this for the right reasons and it shows. They helped me and my family purchase our first home in less than a month and we are forever grateful and blessed!

As with any home purchase there are ups and downs. My loan officer, Mike Peters, was outstanding. People around him though..... I think the biggest gripe I have is rather than a quick phone call that could have sped some of the processes along, they insisted on texts/emails without any phone call at all. Some of these added time to the process and created frustration on my part as I specifically asked for a phone call as I was sick of all the texts. Again though, Mike Peters himself was NOT the one doing this, he always returned calls if he didn't answer himself and worked hard to get me the best deal he could (I shopped for my loan from four different places including a credit union and a local bank).

Even when Madison was under the weather and lost her voice, she was still making and taking phone calls to ensure every step of the process was communicated clearly and in a timely fashion. We had worked with Tim on our last couple moves and when we started this process we found out that VU had adopted Tim as part of the team to become the lead realtor for our area. They did the heavy lifting. I had a realtor that wasn't giving me a lot of see time with houses; they got me another one. I work off shift and needed a team to work around that; they showed up. I needed updates, phone call questions and options; they provided.

I rarely needed to ask any additional questions because they were extremely thorough. If i did have any questions they were answered promptly.
