The paperwork handler did not seem to be very proactive causing a lot of hurry up and rush at the end just before closing. It all could have been anticipated and dealt with early on.They included $600 closing cost to me for the VA appraisal fee, even though I had previously paid it in full directly to the appraisal company.
Response from Veterans United
James, we appreciate this feedback and the specific details you shared. Our teams need to be proactive and explain all the final settlement costs. Thank you for allowing us to look for ways we can improve.
Excellent experience with Veterans United. The people were terrific. Tammy with century 21 was really good to work with. Lots of help. Bg
I honestly thought achieving a home loan would be a long and stressful process. The loan team Veterans United assigned to me were the best in every way. They supported my decisions and were there to help every step of the process. Any concerns I had, they resolved immediately. I’m so grateful that I choose Veterans United. I would recommend them to any fellow veteran
Caleb is a rock star for Veterans United.
I would set the time out on Esign a little longer or a message saying its about to time out. was reading some of the Docs, and it timed out on me, before I could sign.
Overall terrific experience with a truly great loan officer.
Justin was on top of everything and made the home buying process so easy.
Krystal Palmer comes highly recommended and I will recommend her to fellow Vets without hesitation.
Daily communication with either Jessica or Sam up until the end then 1-3 days would go by when we were getting ready to close and no communication for those days scares us because they weren't returning messages/calls.
Our Loan Officer, Danny Kliethermes, was terrific! While our loan took a while to ultimately close due to re-appraisal and other paperwork - he ensured we got to the finish line - Thanks Danny!
