I was not always clear on the remote closing process. The video of the normal closing was helpful, however more exceptional processing could be helpful.
Only one problem occurred in the process,one outdated form almost derailed the closing date.
Buying a home was easy.
I closed on May 7,2024. I thought that my 1st mortgage payment would be due July 1, 2024 but I was told my 1st payment would be June 1, 2024. At closing
Thanks to Veterans United, I was able to qualify & buy a house that I would not have been able to do had I gone with another company/organization. Thanks to the hard working team at Veterans United on my behalf, I am a Proud Veteran Home Owner.

I would recommend veterans United home loans to anybody and everybody. Jeremy Arnold and Josh Winters, got everything organized and all my paperwork completed. Rachel Nielsen help me with the final financing paperwork and all I have to say if it wasn't for these three people and this organization I wouldn't have a home of my own. God does answer prayers with good people.

Everyone at VU was terrific. You saved me a lot of money, even with my insurance!!The only issue I had with VU was the underwriting process. Some of the tasks could have been clearer and added extra stress. I suggest re-evaluating all the deeply personal information required, which seemed excessive.Additionally, wire transfers should be allowed from Fidelity. That process was challenging, and in the end, I had to personally go into my bank - not having stepped foot in it in almost 25 years to get a cashier's check. Having to do this only introduced human error into the mix of an already stressful process. With my exceptional credit rating, satisfying the underwriters made me feel I was untrustworthy and left me concerned that the process was rife with potential identity theft. If I knew I'd have to go through the underwriter's process again, I may rethink going with VU.
The only critical feedback I have is that VU needs to put itself out there more!!!Work with TAPS on military installations to get the word out!This team TRULY takes care of Vets. And I am eternally grateful for VU in helping me find my forever home!Thank you!
