I would not recommend Veterans United when looking to buy a home. Yes, they make things easy with how they basically have all the POCs for each step you have to take in the home-buying process and connect you with those POCs. But besides that, I really wasn't impressed with the quality of service. I would constantly have to log in to the portal and reupload or repeat my explanations for whatever was being asked of me. Then communication became an issue, as some members of my team were out or had other things to attend to, which I understand; life happens, but I think having somebody to fill in or at least address questions is not a hard ask. I also ended up finding out I was going to be due to pay closing costs just days before closing, which is also partially my realtor's fault as well. I really just didn't like the fact that I was basically the last person to know. Overall, not a good first-time homebuyer experience for me.

Jacob Brewer was the best. He seems to really care. I heard very good things from my title officer about Blaire Coleman as well. Daniel from the credit department was very helpful in housing me what I needed to do to improve my score to qualify for the loan. Diana seems to have too many loans she was working on and I felt I got lost in that. Diana did try I think but once she had the bulk of the loan stuff for me the process didn't seem as personal is the way I felt. But, I'd definitely work with Veterans United again for sure. It was a good experience and helped me achieve my goals. This is my honest experience and views of my experience.
