From the very beginning to the closing everything went great. Most documents were online and easy to complete and made the experience excellent. Every person that helped us were very professional and knew exactly how to plan everything and execute it every step of the way. Thank you all!!
Communication slacked off at the end and instructions were clearly provided so that I went to closing with the understanding that I would do wire transfer at the time of settlement. Unfortunately, it was not clearly explained to me that I was to do wire transfer the day before. I had to leave settlement to go to my bank. Ended up getting certified check instead. It was very frustrating.
Very easy and fast to obtain a home loan with Veterans United Home Loan! Carma and her team did a wonderful job! Kudos to all.

Everything was pretty much seamless. VU helped keep things on track and kept in touch as needed.
Again everyone was patient in explaining the processes. On hand when ever I had a question or concerns. I made an account in August 2024 I believe, and the team had me pre approved some time in February. By May 7, 2025 I officially closed on my first home. The one issue for me that stands out was the process of getting quotes for repairs. Veterans United needed very specific information listed on the quotes. Even though I sent a list of those specifics, the contractors returned with quotes that did not meet all the criteria. This caused me to have to have the contractors revise their quotes several times, causing a lot of anguish between me and them. I feel that VU needs to send a sample quote format to their clients, showing exactly what they're needing, who can then send them to their contractors.
This was my first home buying experience and I honestly could not be happier with how smoothly the transaction went. Every detail was explained and all my questions answered. The online process and step by step to do task list made things pretty simple to follow up on. I would definitely recommend veterans united to anyone seeking for a straight forward home buying experience.
