All went well. Must do plenty of homework in order to get everything done. Plus, hire a realtor. They are a key asset between you and the seller.
Taylor & her team were outstanding & I would recommend vu to family & friends
Awesome job!! Highly recommend them.
I am not sure that I understand why multiple instances of verbal assault of me in the form of multiple people I spoke with as “professionals” working for veterans united was part of the home buying process for us including Emily and also Summer who would not stop insulting me multiple times during the contract signing in my home. Yes I am a military spouse. My husband was not impressed by this either .
Veterans United is always my first call when I need a mortgage or refinance.
Our experience with Veterans United was overall very positive. Allison and her team were professional, responsive, patient, and worked hard to help us navigate the VA home loan process from beginning to end. Communication was consistent, and they made sure we understood each step throughout the journey. As first-time homeowners together as Mr. & Mrs. Thomas L. White III, we truly appreciate the support, encouragement, and dedication shown during our transaction. We are grateful to officially be homeowners and would recommend Veterans United to other veterans and families looking to purchase a home.
They did an amazing job and worked with me through the end.
The smoothest process. We were guided every step of the way!
Purchasing my home with Veterans United was a huge milestone for me, and I’m incredibly grateful for the team that helped guide me through the process. Buying a home can be stressful at times, but my team consistently worked hard to keep everything moving and to make sure I understood each step along the way.I especially want to recognize Andy Harris, Shawna, Hannah, and Christie for their dedication and professionalism. Andy was always responsive and supportive, making sure my questions were answered day or night and helping me stay on track throughout the loan process. Shawna and Hannah were extremely helpful and organized, making the document process smooth and keeping me informed of what was needed. Christie worked diligently behind the scenes to ensure everything met underwriting requirements. Andy made sure that we reached the finish line. What meant the most to me was knowing I had a team advocating for me and working hard to make my homeownership goal a reality. I was not just a number. As a veteran, it’s reassuring to work with people who understand the VA loan process and truly care about helping veterans succeed.I’m proud to say I’m now a homeowner, and I appreciate the effort and commitment my Veterans United team put into making that happen. I would absolutely recommend Veterans United to other veterans looking to buy a home.
As painless as it gets for a Re-Fi, I don't even think I had to send any updated docs. All my debt is paid off and my monthly cash flow will increase significantly. Jason and Tiffany are an A+ Mortgage team, thanks again Jason and Tiffany!
We had an extremely stressful, disorganized, and untimely experience with Veterans United. My client said they would never use them again after our experience. We had an 11 day delay on closing because of items that should have come up previously but waited to be brought up until the week before closing. Terrible communication and response.
Response from Veterans United
Hey Timothy,
I’m really sorry to hear how stressful and frustrating this experience was for both you and your client. Delays so close to closing, especially when concerns feel like they should have been addressed much earlier in the process, can create a lot of unnecessary stress and uncertainty. I can understand why the lack of communication and responsiveness left such a negative impression.
We know how important it is to keep everyone informed throughout the homebuying process, including agents and borrowers, and I’m sorry that didn’t happen here. An 11-day closing delay is significant, and it’s understandable that your client walked away feeling disappointed after the experience.
I’d appreciate the opportunity to learn more about what happened and share your feedback with the appropriate teams. If you’re open to it, please reach out to me directly at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. The Client Advocate team is available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time, and if you contact us outside those hours, we’ll typically respond the next business day.
Sincerely,
Claire S., Client Relations Manager
Throughout the process, I always felt confident that I was in goods hands.
Kyle was great. Helpful and understanding of the situation.
I have purchased real estate before but not with a VA loan that seem to have their own set of rules. Nate and his staff ensured that I had all documentation needed in a way that let me find the required information at my own pace.Loved their professionalism.
Veterans United and Mike Patzius makes a team that is unbeatable, will always trust them for all my home loan needs. I always feel very safe dealing with Michael and know he can always help me in any manner. Sincerely, Roy Peters
Everyone was fantastic throughout this entire experience. We were never left with an unanswered question - of which there were few since the Team kept us informed of everything we needed (and did not know we needed) almost daily.
My realtor, Aretha, was great! The team at VU was great, just a little time problem at the end, but they got it done!
