Arlo and Anna were the greatest! I was very nervous about buying a home, and they made it easy all the way from the beginning to the end! They were very responsive to any questions and even though everything was done electronically I felt they could not have done anything else to make it such a great experience! The service Veterans United provides makes the home buying process clear and reduces the stresses involved.
The steps that are necessary to accomplish are laid out and clear to the borrower.
Other services are offered, but never pushed. We took advantage of the homeowners insurance that was offered because the product was explained clearly and was actually at a better price than what I received while comparing quotes.
Everyone was professional and a pleasure to work!

Truthfully, just really long gaps between communication to and from the underwriter - to me it seems like there are too many cooks in the kitchen. Rachael was pleasant :)

While our loan coordinator was very on top of things and in contact regularly, our loan officer was not. We often got last minute notice that documents were needed the last day, but the request for the documents had been in the system for over a week. If it wasn’t for us calling, or our loan coordinator Jordan reaching out to us, we would not have been able to close on time. Our loan officer and loan coordinator did not seem to be in regular touch with each other and often times came us mixed information. This made the process feel more rushed and confusing. While our experience wasn’t awful, the lack of communication and last minute notice was frustrating and forced scrambling on our end.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I’m glad to hear Jordan stayed engaged and communicative throughout the process, but I’m sorry the overall coordination and communication left you feeling frustrated and rushed.

I can understand how stressful it would be to receive last-minute requests for documents, especially when it seemed those requests had been pending for some time. Conflicting information and inconsistent communication between team members can make an already complicated process feel confusing and overwhelming, and I’m sorry that added unnecessary pressure leading up to closing.

While I’m happy you were ultimately able to close on time, I understand that doesn’t erase the frustration you experienced trying to keep everything on track. Your feedback about communication, follow-through, and internal coordination is important, and I appreciate you taking the time to share it.
