Nick made me feel so safe going through this process. I have trust issues and I can be pretty pessimistic about things, but Nick was wonderful in explaining everything to me, giving me updates on the process at every stage. He really listened to my concerns and focused on allaying them. He was also very proactive preemptive, bringing up questions that I had but hadn’t been able to formulate and verbalize yet. He was kind and approachable without being the overly enthusiastic, over bearing “salesman” type. I could let my guard down.

We were in dire straights, our home had mold and I am disabled from Iraq. We turned to an internet search and we found Veteran's United. We went from a hotel to air bnb, but the team was there with us throughout the wait. Their kind words kept me sane, and my mind at ease. They never said we can't or anything negative to us. Sometimes I thought they were Superheroes. I will sing their praises, and HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to all my Veteran friends, and once again for me and my wife Katrina, and daughter Peyton thanks for our GREAT home and new lease on life. The experience was 10/10 until we reached the closing date. Clint was incredible to work with and helped me out every step of the way. There was a miscommunication so my spouse on the mortgage despite her not being present at signing. We were supposed to close on a Friday afternoon and it took until the following Wednesday to resolve all of the paperwork. I couldn’t reach anyone on the team that Friday evening and when one of the team members responded to my realtor I was not included in the response or contacted by veterans united. It felt like the team didn’t know what options I wanted to go ahead with.
The closer insisted on my spouse waiving her homestead rights if she wasn’t on the title, but didn’t explain why it was necessary. The title attorney and her team were also confused because it was an unusual request.
