The communication is outstanding! They assist you every step of the way and keep you informed of signatures required, paperwork, etc. This was quite fast and as painless as refinancing can be. I was dreading doing this, but I would do it again if I could work with Veterans United.

Nick made me feel so safe going through this process. I have trust issues and I can be pretty pessimistic about things, but Nick was wonderful in explaining everything to me, giving me updates on the process at every stage. He really listened to my concerns and focused on allaying them. He was also very proactive preemptive, bringing up questions that I had but hadn’t been able to formulate and verbalize yet. He was kind and approachable without being the overly enthusiastic, over bearing “salesman” type. I could let my guard down.

Had a great team help me through the whole process they took their time and made sure everything was taken care of definitely recommend!
There were some hick-ups along the way that made the experience more stressful than it needed to be, from misquoting rates (then countering with it being a rate for a different lock period), to CD disparities (162% above the LE). There were also some missed calls where the loan officer said he'd call to discuss documents and then never did call. They spelled my name wrong on at least two documents (not sure who in the process, but it's all connected). I would still recommend VU, but would spell out what to look for that I ran into along the way. Rates are some of the best out there.

When we contacted Veterans United the process was pleasant from getting our preapproval letter to closing on our new home. Everyone is very professional with the information and courtesy for any questions and concerns.
Another deal closed without a lot of complications! The VU Portal is one of the best tools available.
