Process was managed efficiently with minimal issues, which were handled quickly. There was a whole team helping us to get through the process every step of the way. No ask on our part was too big or small.Would definitely use Veterans United again and highly recommend them!
Aaron Rand has been with me throughout my entire home buying process. I called Aaron many times with questions about my loan. Almost every time I called Aaron, nine times out of ten, Aaron answered my calls. If Aaron was busy helping other veterans and unable to pick up my call, Aaron called me back shortly after I called him. Never once did Aaron ignore me or decide I wasn't important enough to call back. Which is a rarity these days. I asked Aaron many questions and he displayed great patience with me. My questions were answered and I have nothing but, nice things to say about this man. Aaron is not just a great loan officer. Aaron is a great person. Thank you Aaron and thank you Veterans United. My son and I look forward to making fine memories in our new home
Had such an awesome team! They were all on top of it and made my process smooth and simple! Absolutely appreciate the team for helping me buy my first house! Such a blessing!
I would recommend Veterans United one thousand percent and then some. They were so communicative throughout the entire process. Never once did I feel as though I did not understand what was happening or lost. Any questions that I did have, they answered and were extremely patient. The entire VU team was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. It made me feel as though this was not my first time buying a home because it felt so natural. I was afraid the process would be long, hard, and maybe someone would pull the wool over my eyes. But the transparency of the VU team made all those fears go away. They truly are in this for the right reasons and it shows. They helped me and my family purchase our first home in less than a month and we are forever grateful and blessed!
I enjoyed working with Dustin and his team. They were very nice, professional, and easy to work with. They made the entire process a pleasure, and I truly appreciated the patience they had with me throughout. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a smooth and positive home-buying experience.
VIRTUALLY FLAWLESS PROCESS, SERVICE AND CLOSING VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!

Awesome dude helped me close 2 weeks early!
We had an amazing experience with this home buying team! Their communication was outstanding from start to finish, and they always responded quickly whenever we had questions or concerns. Even with several bumps in the road throughout the process, they handled every challenge professionally and worked hard to keep everything moving forward. They made what could have been a stressful experience much easier, and we always felt like we were in good hands. We highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a home!
Overall great experience. Team was responsive when needed. From my perspective the only room for improvement is the team’s attention to detail regarding sending out forms for e-signature. Too many instances I had to sign forms multiple times due to various reasons that should have been caught earlier. I would recommend Veterans United to someone I know.
This loan was the second time I used Veterans United. Overall it was ok. I did get to closing in the end. However, sometimes it was difficult for my realtor to get an answer from the loan coordinator. Several emails were sent with no response.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Miranda,
I'm sorry to hear the communication during your loan process didn't meet your expectations. While I'm glad we were able to help you get to the closing table again, I can understand how frustrating it would be when you or your realtor had a hard time getting the answers you needed along the way.
We want every borrower and their agent to feel informed and supported throughout the process, and it's disappointing to hear that wasn't your experience this time around.
If you'd like to share more, I'd be happy to learn more about what happened. You can reach me at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com.
Sincerely,

My Loan team was fantastic. I cannot thank them enough.
Evan and Sara were both phenomenal and helpful. I was overseas during my purchase, and they always made sure I was updated on events
The team @ Veterans United was very professional & accommodating. They answered my calls & texts immediately. I highly recommend Veterans United to anyone seeking financing for a home.
An absolutely amazing experience. I felt supported and in good hands through the whole process.
Diana was awful. She was rude, never let me finish a sentence, and was very condescending whenever we spoke. Not only was she rude with me, she was rude with my realtor, and the title company I used. Everyone had the same experience of condescending nature and an inability to respond in a reasonable timeframe.Courtney was very polite, but she had two vacations while I was trying to close which did in fact set me back and made it very inconvenient for when we actually closed. It put serious stress on my family making us push back 2 weeks. This cost us a good amount of money in figuring out moving costs and HOR while transient . Not only were the vacations not great, Diana and Courtney took overlapping vacations which DIRECTLY led to receiving our “cleared to close” after they got back, making our window for time not work for the given week and get pushed to the next.I do believe it’s important to add, I requested a NEW TEAM a week or two prior to closing and that request was ignored and answered with an extremely awkward phone call with Courtney that consisted of “we still want your business” - my business with veterans united was never at question; I’ve worked with VU many times before and had amazing experiences. This instance, was not one of them. I just wanted to replace Courtney and Diana (mostly Diana she was awful to work with).Multiple instances where I called to no-answer, sent texts asking for help or asking questions, and THE NEXT DAY I’d get a request to do my to-do’s because they completely ignored my messages and calls and voicemails. It made me feel like they were not involved with me or engaged. This team really let me down and I won’t be using Veteran’s United again. There were also times where I was told they wouldn’t reach back out unless a voicemail was left. That’s just bad business. It’s 2026, no one leaves voicemails anymore. If I am buying a house that is 6% interest and makes veteran’s united $25,000 A YEAR, I think I am owed a return call when I call you. If that’s not the case, you don’t deserve any business.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Samuel,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. As someone who has worked with Veterans United multiple times before, I'm especially sorry to hear that this experience left you feeling so disappointed. I can understand why you would be frustrated if you felt your questions, calls, texts, and concerns were not being addressed in a timely manner throughout such an important process.
I also understand your concerns regarding communication, responsiveness, and the impact that delays had on your closing timeline. Moving a closing date can create additional stress, uncertainty, and expenses for families, and I can appreciate why that would be upsetting. I also hear your frustration regarding your request for a different team and your feeling that the request was not handled in the way you expected.
I appreciate you recognizing that you've had positive experiences with Veterans United in the past. While I'm sorry this transaction did not reflect those experiences, your feedback is important and helps us better understand where we can improve. I'd like the opportunity to learn more about what happened and review your concerns in greater detail.
Please reach out to me at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. The Client Advocate team is available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST, Monday through Friday. If you contact us outside those hours, we can typically respond the next business day.
