The entire team was fast, experienced, and moved efficiently to get my loan issued.
My team at Veterans United "held my hand" through the intire process. I knew very little about this whole process being a first time hime owner. At times, i needed to take things slow and go over some steps at a slow pace so I didnt miss anything. Being a vet with ptsd, this began to get overwhelming, but my team took extra time, talked slowly and clearly to ensure I was fully aware of every detail. I strongly believe, if i had gone with another mortgage company, i would have backed away from this whole process Rob was morenthan understanding and did all he could to insure I didnt let myself down by backing out. All of my questions and concerns where answered until I was satisfied. Now im sitting in my own livingroom as I type this note. Bravo Veterans United. Thank you Rob, Kayla, David, Brayden and Jason. You all have made one of my dreams become literal reality. Xoxo Paul
As a first-time homebuyer, I was honestly terrified going into this process. Buying a home felt overwhelming, and I had no idea how many questions, decisions, and emotions would come with it. Looking back now, I can say without hesitation that Veterans United made what could have been a stressful experience one of the most positive and rewarding experiences my family and I have ever had. From day one, Ashley was absolutely exceptional. She never once made me feel embarrassed for asking questions—even the ones I thought I should already know the answers to. She took the time to walk me through every option, every scenario, and every decision, carefully explaining not only the immediate impact but also the long-term effects on my family and our future. What stood out most was that she never pushed me toward a particular choice. Her focus was always on helping me understand my options so I could make the decision that was right for my situation. Her patience, professionalism, and genuine care gave me confidence during a process that initially felt intimidating. As we moved into underwriting, Derick stepped in and became the steady hand that helped guide us across the finish line. He kept us informed, provided frequent updates, and made sure we always knew where we stood. Even beyond Ashley and Derick, the entire Veterans United team was incredibly responsive. Whenever a question came up, someone was always available to provide a clear and timely answer. What makes Veterans United different is that they don't treat you like a loan number or another transaction. They treat you like a person. By the end of the process, I wasn't referring to them as "my lender" or "my loan team"—I was talking about Ashley and Derick by first name around the dinner table because they had become such a trusted part of this journey.Veterans United made homeownership possible for my family, and for that I will always be grateful. While every person's circumstances are different and no lender can guarantee the same outcome for everyone, I can confidently say that this team genuinely cares and will do everything they can to help you succeed. If you're looking for a lender that combines professionalism, expertise, communication, and genuine human care, I wholeheartedly recommend Veterans United. Thank you for helping make a dream come true for my family.

Melissa was amazing. I never had any questions because she explained everything great. If I had anxiety, she was always quick to answer my questions to dispel any issues
I'm very glad I chose Veterans United to purchase my first home. The whole home buying process seemed very overwhelming but they somehow made it understandable in bite size pieces. I was super anxious and lost at the beginning and they held my hand at each step. With their insurance brokerage, I found cheaper auto, home, and flood insurance.
Aaron and his team were absolutely amazing. They were always available, responsive and made the process super easy for us.
I have mixed feelings about using Veteran's United. Loved the real estate agent they referred us to, the concierge was super nice, and the loan officer good. The insurance rep found us the lowest rate for home owner's insurance so no complaints there either. However, they use a middle-person called a loan coordinator who we did not like at all. Not sure what that individual's purpose other than pass along or ask for information for the loan officer or underwriter; seems like work the loan officer could do. Would not recommend using any lender who uses something like this. We found that part of the process frustrating because ours didn't seem to review any of the documents we submitted and ended up asking for duplicate information that had already been provided. They seem to struggle communication across the team. We provided detailed information to the representative when we initially inquired; income, employment status, ect. However some of the information never made it to the loan officer until right before closing, causing a lot of unneeded anxiety throughout the process. In the end it all worked out but I feel it could have gone a lot smoother.
