Ty has now been my loan officer for two home purchases, and both experiences have been smooth, consistent, and professional from start to finish. He is transparent, responsive, and does a great job keeping me informed throughout each step of the lending process.What I appreciate most is that Ty takes the time to explain things clearly, answer questions, and make sure I understand the numbers and the timing involved. He is also proactive and does everything he can to stay competitive with other lenders, which made me feel like he was genuinely working in my best interest.Buying a home can be stressful, especially when there are moving parts close to closing, but Ty helped keep the process organized and steady. I would say that I would probably recommend Veterans United as a whole but not specifically the loan officers that were over my loan. It was by far the worst experience I've ever had on a professional level.

The process was almost too long easy.
I would definitely recommend Veterans United, great service and good staffs. The only thing I don't really like they asked for things that don't even make sense. Things that don't even related to the loan in my opinion. There are couple things they are that are redundant. I didn't like the fact that they finished they verify sources of income and employment verify then they issue the pre-approval letter, later it took longer to close because they said "oh your employment history is not cleared yet". Other that, everything else was smooth.
I'm very glad I chose Veterans United to purchase my first home. The whole home buying process seemed very overwhelming but they somehow made it understandable in bite size pieces. I was super anxious and lost at the beginning and they held my hand at each step. With their insurance brokerage, I found cheaper auto, home, and flood insurance.
The team was amazing. They were friendly while maintaining professionalism. My husband and I are first time home owners and they explained things in detail, always available when I had questions, patient, and understanding. Any issue we had, they worked with us.

For the most part it was a great experience working with Veterans United. Celina and Lindsay were a great team and made sure that everything went smoothly. My one criticism is that the underwriters should ask for all the information up front not piecemeal or there should be at least some notification that they need new information. There were times when I thought I had everything in and then I would get a message from Lindsay saying there's been something in my VU to-do list for days. Other than that great!
