They listed everything we needed to do. If something was unclear, they made sure we knew what needed to be done, or fixed!
Alex, Joe, and all of Kaleb's team were exceptional communicators and guides during our first home-buying undertaking. We made our offer the week of Memorial Day and closed around the 4th of July! It was a remarkable and momentous experience getting our slice of the American dream with my hard-earned VA Loan. What a great, simple, stress free process our experience has been with Veterans United.
Our loan officer Jeremy straatmann went above and beyond his job! He never gave up on me and wife and our loan. He was not only our loan officer but he became a friend! Working with him you can see that he has a passion for what he does and helping veterans like me purchase and own their own homes. He was absolutely amazing through out the whole process!!
They helped us from beginning to end never flinching and always there to handle our issues.
When I got to my new job, other new hires obtaining a VA loan with other banks were able to close solely on proof of employment. They didn't have to wait 2 weeks to close for a paystub. It made it extremely expensive to pay for 2 weeks of housing. I personally wouldn't recommend Veterans United for new hire employees.
My loan almost did not close on the date I had set for 3 months. Communication back and fourth was terrible. Extra paperwork was needed the day before closing that could have been gathered and turned in weeks prior. Paperwork was submitted and not received for days in my folder until I finally got ahold of someone to let them know.
