This is our second home purchase and nothing like our first experience (not with Veterans United). It was like working with family. Tory Tuttle in particular was so generous of her time and patient with our questions.

This was our first homebuying experience and there was a lot to learn. The team was great at explaining every step and very patient answering our questions. The response time for all calls and messages and paperwork was wonderful. By the time we signed all the papers, we felt very confident.
Overall, the experience with VU was positive. The corporate website requires a verification code to gain access to a user's account. The directions say that the code can be sent via text or voice. I tried many times, but the voice option does not work. As a result, I could not access my account to review and sign documents. This was inconvenient for me, and added work to local and corporate staff. When I did not sign documents within 3 days, VU had to send me everything in hard copy. Of course, this meant a lot of papers plus postage. Recommend the voice option be fixed, or not offered if it will not really be an option for users.
