This was our first time using Veteran's United and the process was extremely long, difficult and we almost ended up homeless. Because of so many factors, both from VU and other sources, closing was literally the last day of the month when our rental lease ended. The lack of communication between VU staff resulted on not everyone being on the same page most of the time and misinformation being given. Overall, was not satisfied and would not use this company again.

Working with Jacob Halls, and as I have referenced them, The J Squad, it was such a pleasure. I am a graveyard shift truck driver so I sleep during the days which brought about the issue of being able to contact my loan team during their normal hours. Each and every one of Jacob’s team, from the very beginning, all the way to closing, has been very helpful and has worked with me with my schedule so that we could make it to where we are. Closed! I used the Realtor you guys recommended. I’m sure he bought into some system so he could have first choice. He was over an hour away that was not beneficial to anybody. I would not use them again for this areaAt first I had to remind him of things that were going on in the transaction I felt like I was stuck, stuck between two layers of middle men.When I deposited my earnest money, it should’ve been immediate that all the inspections were scheduled. That didn’t happen and everything was pushed back. It didn’t work out smoothly and I was not happy.I’m only recommending you two others because my first transaction with you in another state worked out very seamlessly.Again, do not pair realtors with people if they are not local
